For a quick trip, the location makes this a good option, as long as you keep expectations modest. The family running it helped with everything, and even opened the kitchen late at night for our baby, which was a real plus. We had a clean room and found the included breakfast adequate. The bathroom looked shabby and dirty, though it wasn’t actually dirty, and I think everyone probably has the same impression. Cleanliness may have been a matter of luck, since we happened to get a very clean room. For a guesthouse, it was fine for a short stay.

The location is spot on, and if you’re out all day and don’t mind a few rough edges, it works well. My room was worn but clean, and that was fine for what I needed. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was filling, even if it was clearly industrial. The late night noise was the problem. It sounded like the family lived at the hotel and weren’t keeping an eye on things, with doors banging, shouting, and heavy footsteps. I had earplugs and I’m not especially fussy, but anyone bothered by noise should avoid this place.

We were in a triple room that we really only used to sleep, and it worked out very well. The balcony was such a nice place to sit, it felt like home. The price for what you get is worth considering. Hatice Hanım and her family were very kind and attentive. Thanks for everything.

I paid nearly 2,000 lira for one night in a single room booked through a booking site, and left after barely 20 minutes. They’d made me wait while it was cleaned, but there was still hair on the bed and pillow. The bed sagged, the sink and shower head were rusty, and there was only about 30 cm between the toilet and shower head. The toilet had an opening to the outside like a chimney. The room was about 5 square meters with no air conditioning. They gave me a fan, but it was broken and falling apart, held together with zip ties. I really don’t know what to say.
