Cilek Butik Otel

Breakfast was always a pleasure, and the staff were friendly. The clean pool was a lovely place to unwind, while the location made it easy to walk along the coast or around the harbor. There are some excellent restaurants nearby, too. We were very happy with our stay and can definitely recommend the hotel.

The worst part came after we left our towels out to be changed: 600 TRY went missing from my bag. When we told the manager, she said, “sometimes people miscalculate their money on holiday.” The money was never found, and the response left us seriously concerned about theft. We had booked a bungalow for four through Booking.com, but on arrival it was immediately clear that it was far too small for four adults. The room also smelled awful. The receptionist said it was “the smell of disinfectant.” We were then made to cancel our Booking.com reservation and pay cash in euros for the bungalow or another option. The rooms were in terrible shape. There were persistent odors, dirty taps and showers, and very old, filthy toilets. Sound insulation was poor, so we could hear everything from other rooms. The air conditioners were broken and leaked outside, with even worse smells. The rooms felt cold and empty, with no decoration, and there was no network or internet in the rooms. Dirty, outdated, noisy, and uncomfortable, with what felt like shady practices. Avoid this place.

The family made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year with our two children. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the air conditioning was great on warm nights. We also loved the pool area. Breakfast became my favorite meal each day, with lovely fresh food and a good selection. I really can’t recommend this family run place enough.

The family running the hotel were lovely and helped us find places to visit and eat. Breakfast was delicious, and the pool and the property were both very clean. It felt like a family oriented place, and we had a really nice stay. We’d recommend it 100%, and maybe we’ll be back soon.
