Gaia By The Sea - Adult Only

We went for a few days in March, when the hotel was very quiet and we were the only guests. The staff still made sure everything was taken care of, helped us reserve meals, were available whenever needed, and were genuinely welcoming. The place was very clean, smelled great, and the room was lovely, especially its private thermal pool. We weren't sure what to expect outside the busy travel season, but we'd highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

I nearly booked somewhere else after reading all the negative Google Maps reviews just hours before check-in. I'm glad I came anyway. The privacy stood out right away: even in August, the beach didn't feel crowded, and I could swim and relax peacefully. My room was stylish, clean, and full of smart details, with everything I needed in good supply. Even the towels were new and matched the hotel's look, not the worn white kind you often find. The staff were genuinely helpful and responded quickly whenever I asked for something. The thermal bath was a real wow, though in the hot August weather I probably couldn't appreciate it fully. The sea was warm, the pier was great, and riding the SUP boards for free was amazing. Breakfast wasn't a standard buffet, which I liked. It was tasty and filling, and they served filter coffee too. Parking is small, but I noticed two spaces for charging electric cars, a nice touch. This is a great option for a quiet, peaceful break after the bustle of Istanbul. The hotel still has room to grow, as any new business does, but it seems to be moving in the right direction. The gravel road to the hotel did bother me. I worried it might damage my car's expensive rims, and you definitely can't walk barefoot there. Owner, please pay attention to that. Other than that, thanks for the stay. I've stayed at plenty of hotels around Alaçatı and Çeşme, and I'll be back.

The beach felt private and peaceful even when full, with a wooden deck over the sea, excellent loungers, umbrellas, and towels. Staff checked in regularly to see if we needed anything, and there were SUPs and paddle boats to use. Even with regional water restrictions after recent wildfires, the hotel kept water available from its own tanks. Morning yoga was relaxing, and the trails just outside are lovely for running, with beautiful sea views. We originally booked one week at Gaia by the Sea, then extended because we couldn't bring ourselves to leave. Our bungalow-style room was private, beautifully decorated in warm sand colors, and had a thermal pool we used twice a day. The buildings sit naturally into the hillside, and the layout gives you a sense of complete privacy. Breakfast was a daily highlight, Turkish specialties served in little dishes, with hot choices like Menemen available too. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Service was discreet, and the room was cleaned while we had breakfast, without disturbing us. This was our second stay, and there'll be another. Gaia is a haven of calm, beauty, and care. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our week at Gaia by the Sea in Çeşme, İzmir. Being right beside the sea, with a private pier and beachfront, made it a lovely place for a restful holiday. Breakfast was included and very good, a nice start to each day. The calm beige rooms were beautifully designed, very clean, and carefully laid out. We especially liked the king-size bed, quality linens, towels, and peshtemals. We had asked in advance for two ergonomic pillows, and they had them ready for us. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, from the day and night receptionists to the bar, kitchen, and housekeeping staff. Zeynep Hanım replied promptly to our Booking.com messages, and the owner also checked in personally a couple of times, which was a nice touch. The rate for a bed and breakfast is very high by Turkish standards, but for us the experience was worth it. We'd recommend Gaia by the Sea for a peaceful, elegant seaside break.
