Golden Stone Butik Otel

We travel to Turkey often from Australia and have seen quite a few places there. This hotel and area are ones we'd definitely return to. We were very happy with our stay, and the owners and staff were consistently polite and made us feel at home.

The location made getting around easy: beaches and beach clubs were about five minutes away by car, there were plenty of dinner spots and fish restaurants nearby, and a supermarket was just a 30-second walk away. Driving through the narrow streets can be tricky, especially for a foreigner, but after two visits we found our way easily. Breakfast on the balcony came with a lovely view. The owner's wife called it a “momma's breakfast,” with typical Turkish dishes like menemen, eggs, börek, pisi, vegetables, and jams. The family running the place were down to earth and got along so well that we felt comfortable too. Staff were polite and helpful. When we arrived, the owner helped us move in and offered a free room upgrade. Our first room was a bit dark and had no window; the replacement was slightly nicer, with a window, though on the small side. That was fine for us. It was clean and had air conditioning, a fridge, and a small TV. My girlfriend and I loved the place and would recommend it to anyone after a similar stay. Breakfast, beach swim, dinner nearby or in Cesme center, then sleep. 10/10.
