The room at Nese hostel was clean and just right for resting after a long day of travel. The family who runs the hotel speaks English and gave me good advice. As a woman travelling on my own, I felt safe there, and I wish I’d had more time to stay longer. Thanks again, and maybe I’ll see you next time I come to Turkey!

The host we met was very welcoming and friendly, and the location is great, very close to Çeşme centre. The room didn’t feel worth the high price, more than 800 lira per night for two people, especially since breakfast wasn’t included. We stayed at five other hotels this summer where the rooms were better, cost less, and came with breakfast. Our room looked neglected and could use renovation or improvement. There was dirt and hair under and around the bed. The mattresses weren’t as comfortable as the ones at the other hotels, and we thought we’d booked a double but got twin beds that we had to push together. There weren’t many plug sockets, and some were in awkward spots, like right above the pillow or behind the TV. Outside noise was also very loud. The owners and staff at Nese Hotel in Cesme were very hospitable, and we had a great stay. It’s an easy walk to the beach, shopping, and nightlife. There’s a romantic patio where you can have a drink at night or breakfast in the morning. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we’d stay again.

There’s a beautiful outdoor cafe area, and the rooms are simple and clean. The manager and his wife were so friendly and hospitable. It’s a short walk to Cesme village and the water. A really great place!
