Ride And Stay Hotel

The option to go horseback riding at a good price was a great bonus, and the location works perfectly if you have a car. I loved staying at Ride and Stay in Çeşme. The rooms were spacious, with a cozy boho feel, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. The pool was clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!

We only had one night, which is a shame because the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The homey atmosphere and lovely people made it a great stay. Be sure to eat at the local restaurant, the food is great. Thanks so much.

I left early after two nights because I didn’t sleep at all. The bed was broken and uncomfortable, dogs barked throughout the night, and the room had no curtains or blinds, so sunrise made it too bright to rest. There were no tea or coffee supplies, and no drinking water was provided or available. The shower didn’t drain properly, leaving the bathroom floor very wet. At first glance, the place seems okay, with a nice pool and unusual converted rooms. I know some rooms have self catering options, but I had a hotel room with breakfast included, which was fine. The grass around the pool was soggy and swampy. The young men who run the place spent time around reception, which some guests might find intimidating, though they were friendly and helpful when I asked questions. I wasn’t shown around or told about breakfast times or facilities. The hotel is 3 km from Cesme. I was told they couldn’t arrange taxis, or perhaps that taxis wouldn’t pick up there, I wasn’t sure which. I ended up walking almost an hour into Cesme. With a name like ‘Ride and Stay,’ I’d say having a car is essential, and I didn’t have one. The booking site said card payment was accepted, but the manager first said it was cash only because the card machine wasn’t working. When I said I couldn’t pay cash, he produced a card machine. I paid 6000 TKY Lira for two nights, which is a lot for the area. In my opinion, it wasn’t value for money, and I’d look for somewhere cheaper and more comfortable in Cesme.

We came hoping our son could see the horses and we could enjoy a Sunday breakfast, but my wife, son, and I left completely unhappy. We’d been here before, though we didn’t stay at the hotel, and this review is only about the indifferent breakfast service. The tea wasn’t brought in a thermos as it usually is, and we had to keep asking for more. We requested bread three times and it never arrived. If they’d run out, they could have just told us and we would have understood. They could at least have politely asked if we wanted coffee. When paying, being told that 1900 was enough felt unpleasant, as though the usual price was higher but 1900 was all this service deserved. We won’t come back. As a local of Çeşme, I know there are plenty of places for a much better breakfast.
