A group of 20 friends stayed for one night, and the hotel team helped make the trip such a lovely one. Thanks to everyone there for that.

We got there and found the door locked. Our booking included breakfast, but they told us breakfast wasn't served in winter, so we left right away. There was nothing to sort out after we'd already gone. This felt very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend the place.

Breakfast was served at 9 a.m., with the tables already set, and it was simple but enough for us. Selim welcomed us warmly when we arrived at Sakız Kızı on August 25, 2025. My wife and I had booked through ETS, and although I asked in advance for an upstairs room, we were given one on the garden level, which may be a risk when booking through an agency. We found the room small, clean, and practical. There was plenty of hot water, soap, and shampoo, and the bed was comfortable, though quite noisy. Since our room was by the entrance, we heard a lot from outside. We were only there overnight, so tried not to dwell on that. The hotel is set in a green garden in a quiet neighborhood, about a five-minute drive from Alaçatı Bazaar. Alaçatı means a lot to us, and Sakız Kızı felt like good value. It's simple, calm, and sufficient, so worth considering if you aren't expecting the luxury and extravagance of other places in Alaçatı.

A loud argument between the owners at 4 a.m. in the garden, right outside my window, was what finally made us leave. We were disturbed and got no apology. When we explained why we were going, the owner didn't even speak with us. I called our travel agency first thing in the morning to cancel. I'd booked three nights with my daughter and son, without my wife, but we left after the first day. The room was in terrible shape, things were falling apart, and the cleanliness was awful. The duvet smelled so bad that we had to change it. The air conditioner sounded ancient and was too noisy to sleep with. You can get a much cleaner, better-kept hotel for this price. Have a good vacation.
