Serenity Bungalows

The bungalow was lovely and the location was great. I had to leave early because of a medical emergency, and even after I informed the staff and Booking.com, the hotel refused to refund the nights I couldn’t use. I paid in full without receiving any service for those days. That showed a lack of compassion and professionalism. I also asked whether there were larger rooms, and left because the price didn’t match the quality, which was far from luxury. Instead of responding professionally to that feedback, they sent me childish, arrogant personal insults over WhatsApp because I chose to leave. That’s harassment, not hospitality. The message confirmed what I suspected: no respect for guests and no understanding of hospitality. I won’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you expect fair treatment when something unexpected happens. I’ll make sure people know how they treat guests, both publicly and privately.

We had a lovely, peaceful week in Cirali this September. The rooms are a bit boho, but have everything you need, and the food and breakfast were both lovely with generous portions. Staff were attentive and friendly, with just the right amount of chat for two introverts looking for a quiet break. Serenity Bungalows has its own area on the beach, only a small two-minute walk away. Bars, restaurants and a small market shop are also a short walk from here. We walked to see the Chimera Flames one evening, and it was well worth visiting.

The room was good and so were the staff. Everything else was fine too, but the breakfast was the same each day, wasn’t buffet style and didn’t offer much choice. Rooms on the left-hand side back onto the road, so cars passing make them very noisy.

The Baker was amazing, really nice, and the things he makes are delicious. Most of the service was good, but the family’s father was unpleasant and always grumpy. A few things in the bathroom were broken. After we asked to have them fixed, they were a little better, but still broken. The bed wasn’t comfortable either.
