Rio's Hotel

The location worked really well for me, close to the airport and a short distance from Viaport Shopping Center, handy for shopping and dining. The hotel is good for the price, and the receptionist was friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the stay better. A comfortable, affordable option near the airport.

In ten years of traveling, this was my worst experience. I made a mistake and booked for May 30th, although my family and I arrived on April 30th, exhausted after a Moscow-Turkey-Egypt connecting flight. I’d mistyped the dates. At the hotel, we were met coldly and told to pay again for that night, then sort out our May 30th stay with Yandex ourselves. We weren’t refunded for the May 30th booking. The hotel also formally refused to refund Yandex, citing “hotel policy.” On WhatsApp, management calmly said they could help with another payment on April 14th, but had already received the money for May 30th and wouldn’t return it. In other words, they wanted me to pay a third time for the same period. They charged us for dates we couldn’t use, wouldn’t move the booking to the dates we needed, and offered to “resolve the problem” only if we paid again. To me, this isn’t a mistake, it’s a company policy of extortion. Travelers, beware. If you’re off by even a month, you won’t get a refund.

The calm, pleasant atmosphere made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived at Rios Hotel. I was welcomed warmly and treated with professionalism throughout. The manager was especially gracious and attentive, and his kindness and commitment to guest satisfaction helped create a wonderful environment. I also want to mention the Moroccan man at reception. He greeted everyone with a smile, brought positive energy, and was sincerely ready to help. It’s rare to meet such a thoughtful team. Their kindness made my stay memorable, and I’d gladly return. Highly recommended.

I traveled from Philippines to Turkey, and this was the best hotel for my experience. The room was big and clean, the price was affordable, and the staff were very friendly. I recommend Rios Hotel to all travelers.
