Aras Hotels Çorlu

Never visit this hotel. The rooms are in terrible shape, and the quality is poor. They don't honor online reservations, as I've seen mentioned in other comments. They erase your booking and charge you more. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I'll never go back. I wish I'd read all the comments sooner.

We asked to change rooms after the bathroom in our first one started leaking. A staff member who spoke little English said his friend would check it in five minutes, but an hour later nobody had come. The receptionist had left, and the other staff couldn't speak English, so we requested another room. The replacement had a leaking sink, dirty sheets, and an unclean floor. Its window looked straight onto a supply closet. We also kept smelling cigarette smoke from the hallway in the evening, and couldn't air it out because the windows didn't open. We were there with family for two nights.

For a whole week, I saw only four people, and the only foreign language I heard the staff use was Russian. There was no housekeeping or maintenance staff. The person called the receptionist just handed out keys, and the same woman who mopped the floor was also the cook. I'm completely disappointed. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in, and the staff didn't seem professional. I don't know how these people are allowed to run a hotel.

Super.
