Turunç Hotel Antalya

Good price, safe, and in a great spot. The staff were friendly, though my room smelled of smoke.

The room was on the fourth floor, and there was no elevator. The bedding was dirty, so I had to ask for a fresh set. Tobacco smell was strong both in the room and at reception, and the shared bathroom had no hot water. Quite an experience.

The location is convenient, close to the center, so I could see staying here for a night if all you need is somewhere to sleep. The rest was rough. Rooms are tiny, with nowhere for luggage or to hang a towel, and everyone shares one fridge. There are three floors and no elevator. There were loads of mosquitoes, and I hope they weren't carrying anything worse. The blankets weren't clean, though they gave us replacements. The toilets seemed fine when the hotel was empty, but on our first night the one on our floor was unusably dirty. I told the woman who cleaned there, and it took the hotel 20 hours to get it usable again. On the second floor there's one squat toilet and one Western-style one. The door needs a kick to shut.

I stayed for over a month and never ran into a problem. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the location was excellent, with buses close by. The staff were always smiling and genuinely helpful. Thanks, guys, you're the best. Keep up the good service, and you'll always be number one. Good luck.
