Did anyone check this room before handing it over? It seemed like it may not have been cleaned or even inspected for days. Then came the comment, or attempted explanation, that you don't serve alcohol and assumed I'd brought my own. The photos say enough on their own.

This place is good value, but the receptionist's caveman attitude ruined it for me. He scolded me for using the last of the cologne. If he's angry with someone, he should take it up with them. Apparently that's his idea of being a man.

The bathroom and toilet were damp and dirty, and the rooms were awful, from the beds and curtains to the walls. We hadn't checked the reviews before booking, and regretted it. After barely making it through one night on the road, we left at morning prayer. We felt we'd wasted our money. I'm posting this as soon as we got out so nobody else ends up there.

I can't speak for the other floors, but avoid the first floor. The windows and bathroom door wouldn't shut, and those rooms aren't acceptable for a hotel. Two stars only because I've stayed somewhere worse.
