The aircraft noise nearby was extremely loud and disturbing, especially at night. We were also woken at 4:30 AM by a call we hadn’t requested as a wake-up call. Staff said someone had dialled the wrong room, which was unacceptable. The restaurant food was below average for what you’d expect at a 4-star property, and the shower drained badly because of the bathroom floor slope. This hotel doesn’t live up to its rating, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were kind and tried to help, but that was about the only good thing. It’s an old hotel, and although the rooms have been renewed, the work feels low quality. For the price, it’s expensive for what you get. Breakfast and dinner were very basic, and management doesn’t seem to care about customer satisfaction. It’s not like a three- or four-star hotel.

Breakfast was a real letdown: the simit and pastries were extremely stale, as if they were a few days old, and the instant coffee from the machines tasted bad too. The rooms look recently renovated, but wardrobes, balconies, and other details weren’t properly cleaned. The airport is fairly nearby, about 10-15 minutes by car. Overall, not a satisfying stay.

We only stayed for a few hours because of a late flight. It was clean and the staff were friendly, though the place needs some updating. Dinner was OK, but there wasn’t much choice. Getting out of the bath after a shower is a steep drop. If you like watching planes, it’s a fantastic spot, right under the flight path depending on the landing direction. I’d stay again.

We chose this place because it’s so close to the airport, which was convenient, but I wouldn’t recommend staying overnight. The pool is big but boring, and there isn’t much to do. Hornet nests were on almost every balcony, and even though we were all-inclusive, we had to pay 30 pounds for drinks and fries. The slides weren’t open. It looked really fancy when we walked in, and we spotted a pool table straight away, but when we asked to play, they said no.
