Vizyon Otel Darica

The staff were friendly and helpful, even if they weren't especially chatty. Breakfast was a sufficient, typically Turkish spread, and the upstairs restaurant had an expansive, beautiful view from its balcony. Most of it has windows you can open. I didn't get to try the spa. The rooms had what you need, though nothing special, and you can hear the main road whether the windows are open or closed. Still, it's a pleasant, affordable hotel that's well suited to a city trip, and the price seems reasonable.

The room was very clean, and the furnishings still looked fresh since the hotel is new. I hope they keep things this tidy and well organized over time. There’s a Turkish bath, though I didn’t use it. You can book with or without breakfast, and the liquor cabinet at reception costs about 20-30 TL more than elsewhere. A pleasant hotel.

The noise from the room next door was awful, like they were in with us. I also couldn’t sleep because the whole room smelled of cigarettes, even the closet. There weren’t any windows, just a balcony, and even leaving it open all night didn’t clear the smell. I stayed one night and wouldn’t recommend it.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and everything was clean and neat. Thank you.
