Apartment Iskandil

We stayed six days as a group of six and had a great time. The apartment felt like home, and the owners were really sweet. It's only a two-minute walk to the beach, with a handy location for getting to the bays. We'd happily recommend it.

We've come back for a second stay, this time as two families. It's a family-run hotel, and the family is lovely. Mr. Kamil is warm and attentive, his granddaughter Dadya is adorable, and Ms. Çiler is helpful and friendly. The rooms are pleasant, the bedspreads and towels were spotless, and most of the furnishings worked well. The TV wasn't good quality, though, and the wooden chairs in rooms other than the upstairs ones get uncomfortable after about 15 minutes. If you call ahead with your group size, they can arrange a room with more comfortable beds. We had breakfast at the tables in the lobby, where there's also a kitchen counter and electric oven. It's a bright, airy space. Palamutbükü is great if a calm, relaxing holiday is your idea of fun, but there's no real nightlife. Apart from a few modest cafes, there aren't places to sit with a drink and music. Restaurants sell beer for 200 TL, or you can buy drinks at the liquor store and use the hotel's sunbeds. For dinner, fish at restaurants was 550-800 TL in summer 2025. I don't know what prices will be next year. Olimera Terrace serves breakfast and home-cooked food at very affordable prices. Umut Bakery, right by the swimming spot, sells pastries and bagels for breakfast. The hotel is 200 meters from the beach and has its own beach area, so we never struggled to find sunbeds. The sea is crystal clear, among the cleanest you'll see in Türkiye, though it may feel a bit cold if you're not used to the Aegean. I'd go when the weather's warm. There's a lot to love about Palamutbükü, and it's easy to get attached to the place.

We came by this time to see Kamil abi and Necla abla. If I'd known my brother would find us a place in Palamutbükü, I'd definitely have stayed in Iskandil. They're such friendly people. They wouldn't let us leave without refreshments, and we had a nice chat. Sending them our greetings.

Our first stay here went really well. The room was clean and a good size, and the sea was just a five-minute walk away. The staff were very helpful, and we were very happy with everything.
