Aylin Ahşap Evler Palamutbükü

We'd hoped for a relaxing beach holiday at Aylin Ahsap Evler Hotel & Restaurant in Datça, but we left feeling frustrated and undervalued. When we raised our concerns, the response was dismissive, with “bad luck” given as the explanation. We hope this review leads to better communication and service so others don't have the same experience. The beach area was pleasant, but service there was hard to get. The umbrellas were set very low and seemed unsafe, nearly injuring my daughter. We were also told dinner and breakfast were included, then found that only a limited selection was covered. Water at breakfast, and soft drinks or desserts at dinner, cost extra. That lack of clarity felt deceptive. Other promised amenities fell short too. The high-speed internet didn't work at all during our stay, and nothing was done despite assurances. The suite only had air conditioning in the bedroom, so the rest of it was uncomfortably warm. At night, a strong sewage smell from the bathroom made things worse. We were led to expect rooms close to the beach and the main hotel-restaurant area, but they were actually a five-minute drive away, which was a significant inconvenience.
