The staff are friendly and helpful, but the breakfast food, including scrambled eggs and omelets, is almost cold. Housekeeping also comes into the room even when the “DO NOT CLEAN ROOM” sign is on the door.

You’re right in the middle of the main promenade, and the staff are friendly. The beds are the problem: they’re rock hard even by Turkish standards, and I woke up sore, if I managed to sleep at all. They’re also very strict about bringing in outside food or drinks.

The hotel’s location was the only thing that worked for us, so we stayed despite everything else. I wouldn’t recommend it. The pool wasn’t cleaned during the two weeks we were there, and the room itself was grimy. The pillows were yellow, smelly and dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and there were stains on the toilet and sink that looked like diarrhea or vomit. The mirrors and window were cloudy, as if someone had wiped them with a dirty cloth. I ended up buying cleaning products and cleaning the room myself. We arrived in September 2025 for a two-week stay with my husband, expecting a lot because the location was perfect and the photos looked good. Our first room was on the fifth floor with a beautiful sea view, but the sewage smell made me physically sick. They moved us the next day to a second-floor room with a sea view. It looked clean at first, but we soon found it was filthy.

The staff I met were all pleasant, friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was adequate. Breakfast is basic but sufficient, with fruit, cereal, salads, a small cheese selection, olives and hot food. You can eat downstairs by the lobby or just below the pool; I’d pick the pool area for its beautiful views. There’s a small terrace pool and an even smaller one for babies and toddlers, overlooking the sea, cruise liners, harbour, marina and moored yachts. The location is very central, with nearly everything nearby. Dolmuş minibuses stop right outside if you don’t want to walk, and the fare was 25 TL, about 50 pence. We paid around £21 a night, so I’d say it’s good value if you don’t expect too much. I’d recommend it on that basis. I’m in room 507 on the fifth floor for four nights over Easter. It’s clean and basic, but there’s no kettle for making coffee or another hot drink, the mini fridge doesn’t work, the air conditioning is weak, and the bathroom lock is broken. I actually got stuck in there and had to call reception using the bathroom phone. Since the hotel is on a main road with lots of bars and restaurants, ask in advance for a room at the back, preferably on the top floor, if noise bothers you.
