There’s a lovely beach within walking distance, and the place itself is peaceful, surrounded by nature. The owner, Yuksel, is very friendly and makes you feel at home. If you especially like pets and animals, you’ll love it here. I can’t wait to come back, and I definitely recommend it. 👍

We spent an extraordinary holiday under the olive trees, and the apartment felt just like my own home. Aunt Yüksel’s garden welcomes everyone, much like she does. She means a great deal to our family, and I feel lucky to know her. I’ll never forget how much care she’s shown my children. She calls every day, tirelessly asking if they’re happy and whether they need anything. Thank you for your enormous heart, dear Aunt Yüksel. We love you, and I hope others come and experience that atmosphere too.

I first met Aunt Yüksel, who owns Datça Çiftlik Apart, in 2018 and spent ten lovely days there feeling like I was with family. I couldn't return to Datça until this year, but we stayed in touch, and then I came back to Çiftlik Apart for two weeks. It was lovely to catch up with her and enjoy the sea and nature again. I love natural surroundings and warmth, and we shared meals and coffee with the other guests in a friendly family atmosphere. I made new friends, too. Aunt Yüksel welcomes guests to her farm so sincerely, shares the garden's fruits and vegetables, and has stories I don't think we could ever tire of. I'm very lucky to know her. Ovabükü beach, a walk away, seems to me to have the most beautiful sea in the area. The grounds are full of olive trees, including a protected 500-year-old one where we ate dinner, as well as pomegranate, fig, and grapevine trees. Eggplant, beans, tomatoes, and other vegetables and fruits grow there too. Ducks, chickens, goats, and geese are in the back, and Aunt Yüksel, who loves all living things, also has cats and two dogs. I hope to visit Datça Çiftlik Apart at least once a year from now on, and recommend it to everyone.

Aunt Yüksel has been protecting and preserving nature at Datça Çiftlik Apart since 1992, and she says she's devoted her life to it. At 85, she still runs the place almost entirely on her own, with a lot of love and determination. It's a huge estate to manage alone: she handles the hot and cold water, waters the fragrant organic vegetables morning and night, feeds the animals, cleans rooms, and does the laundry. You can understand that she may not manage every task as perfectly as before, especially when tourism depends so much on having enough hands. Nothing on the farm is wasted; everything gets used and valued. The garden and natural setting are lovely, with goats, chickens, ducks, cats, geese, and dogs. I'm sure you'll hear plenty of nonsense about the owner, but don't let it make you prejudge her. Behind it is Aunt Yüksel, still madly in love with her late husband, Uncle John. Go listen to her incredible stories and memories. I love you, Aunt Yüksel 😘🌸 I'm so glad you exist. As I said, you're only 22, and you won't grow old until we're drinking rakı by the Azmak River in Akyaka at 100. 🌸🌸🌸🌸
