We stayed in the apartment section, and unfortunately it was the most uncomfortable vacation we've had. I can't speak for the regular rooms, but I don't understand how this apartment is offered in its current condition. It was much smaller than the photos suggested, and although advertised as a family room, I don't think it works as one. The partition leaves the back area very stuffy, and the beams there are easy to bump your head on. We chose an apartment so we could make tea or coffee and cook if needed. But the kettle and water heater were so caked with limescale that we couldn't use them. I wonder whether the owners make tea or heat water in them. We tried cooking in a pot, but turning on the gas stove, not an electric one, made the room smell of gas all day. The AC barely worked and dripped enough to wet our belongings. The pull-out bed's wires dug into our backs, and it sometimes collapsed inward. The room had been cleaned before we arrived, but the sink still looked mossy or covered in limescale. A little limescale remover would have helped. The hairdryer and mirror were stained too. They said there was parking, but it was a 10-12 minute uphill walk, not right outside. Every outlet had wires hanging out. I gave two stars for the location and tolerable breakfast. The place needs improvement.

The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the balcony looks over the lively city center. The rooms are clean, but the bathroom is very poorly maintained. If you only need somewhere to sleep, it's a great hotel. The pebble beach is a two-minute walk away, well kept, and has excellent water. Sun loungers are free if you spend 1000 TL on food and drinks at the establishments. A parking lot two minutes away charges 100 TL for the full day, which is a real bargain for the city center. In Marmaris, all-day parking was 800 TL.

We stayed as a family for two days and were very pleased. The hotel is centrally located, so the beach, market, and everything else are right outside. We especially enjoyed unwinding on the balcony in the evenings. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Hope to see you again.

The people running this place are warm, helpful, and easy to talk to. It’s a family business, and everything was spotless. Our room felt modern and nicely decorated, with a balcony where we could take in the surroundings. There are tasty homemade restaurants right next door, too. The pebble beach is a 2-minute walk and the sandy one takes 3-4 minutes. When I’m back in Datça, I won’t be looking for anywhere else.
