The checkout information on the website said 12:00, but at 11:29 someone knocked and told us to leave, saying the site was wrong and checkout was at 11:30. We were packing our things outside the building when the man came out onto the balcony, spoke to us rudely, and shook the freezer lid that had swollen my friend's foot. He blamed us, then threatened to come downstairs when we explained what had happened. We considered calling the police over the threat, but decided against it because we didn't want it to affect a future holiday. At least people thinking of staying should know. There were other problems too. We booked a room for four but got only two towels. When we asked, the man said it was an apartment, not a hotel, as if four towels were some kind of luxury. The rooms were dirty, with only the middle areas cleaned and dust and debris along the walls. The toilet door didn't close properly, and with it open, there was a disgusting smell from the sink. When we opened the fridge and poured water into the freezer, the door fell onto our feet. The website details didn't match what the man told us. At payment, he said he couldn't charge the card for an unspecified reason. After we challenged him to explain, he first insisted on adding a commission, then, when we wouldn't agree, asked us to give him at least 50 TL in cash. We thought the attitude was awful, but didn't let it ruin our holiday and didn't contact him again. Staying there in beautiful Datça was a great misfortune. The business felt disrespectful and unprofessional.

❗JUST AWFUL! ❗ The rooms weren't clean. Dried food was stuck all over the plates and pots, the towels smelled, and I don't even want to think about that foul bathroom smell. We trusted the reviews, stayed there, and regretted it. The man in charge had a really disturbing way of speaking. Asking for anything felt like a burden, as if we were being forced to stay there. He acted like providing the service we'd paid for was a favor to him. Then we saw him arguing with a group of young people leaving the apartments, and it nearly turned into a fight. People were yelling from the balcony. At first we thought they were other guests, but then realized it was the apartment owner. What a lack of professionalism! At night, we were grateful for the noises coming from the rooms. In short, make this your very last choice!

The room looked nothing like the pictures online, and the sinks smelled awful. The toilet was dirty, with yellow stains, and the bed was covered in lint. We checked in at midnight, then were asked after midnight to pay another 100 TL for two hours the next day. The owner’s replies to comments came across as mocking and sarcastic, as others have said. It felt like they wanted the money and didn't care about cleaning. A terrible experience.

The apartment was dirty and the bathroom smelled bad. I strongly wouldn't recommend staying here and risking your vacation. The owner's replies to reviews give you a good idea of his attitude, and I found his explanations fabricated and deceptive. We checked out on the date and time we'd agreed on. I know apartment and hotel stays well, and if we'd stayed for less than two days, I wouldn't have bothered getting into this. Shame, at least make it believable.

The price is reasonable, and the central location meant we could get around without a car. The rooms are practical, and it felt fine for a family stay. We were vacationing in Datca and would recommend it to friends.
