Hotel Europa

The Sea of Marmara was beautiful, and I’d never felt so buoyant in such salty water. Avsa Island itself was delightful, and we’ll return, though the beach is like an ashtray and not very pleasant. A sunbed is a good idea. Fewa and his family are simply great. The owners are wonderful hosts, the food is high quality, the hotel is right on the beach, and the balcony view is perfect. My positive review is completely genuine, but you need to want a high-energy beach holiday that still feels relaxing. That wasn’t quite us. The live music ran until 1am, with loud music continuing until 3am, and the bed felt more like a crash mat. We’re at a different stage of life, I guess. If you want to sleep between sunrise and lunch, this may suit you. For us, hotels 300 or 400 yards along the seafront were much quieter and more appropriate.

Right on the beach, just 5 steps away, with live music that gives the place a great atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the wine is superb, and it’s child friendly too, always a bonus. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Feza and Nalan for such a warm welcome. The breakfast was delicious, homemade with fresh products, and the wine list is wonderful. Guests come from all over the world. Best place in town, with very good music and a big atmosphere.

Breakfast overlooking the sea was a unique part of our stay, and the location is fantastic, only a few meters from the water. We were on the second floor, so the live music didn’t bother us much. Mr. Feza was friendly and pleasant to talk to, welcomed us warmly, and the morning breakfast service was excellent. It was our first time in Avşa, and the hotel worked perfectly well for two nights. How satisfied you are may depend on what you expect before arriving. Our room faced the back and was a bit dark, though that wasn’t a big issue since we spent most of the day in the sea. The bathroom was small for the size of the room. There was no hairdryer, the old refrigerator couldn’t be used, and we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi working. I’m not sure if that was temporary. Even with those shortcomings, it’s a good hotel to consider. Thanks for everything!
