Poyraz Residance

The location was the only good thing. I paid for eight days but left after six and a half. Partway through the fifth day, they told me the room was reserved and moved me. The first room didn't match the photos online, which is what I'd based my booking on, and the replacement was even worse. It was a 1+0, in terrible shape, with torn, unclean sheets and a broken bed that I had to sleep on.

It was quiet and peaceful, and the internet was fast. The hotel's cleanliness and hygiene were excellent, and it offered 5-star comfort.

We found the place on sahibinden.com and booked based on photos of a 1+1 room listed at 1000 TL. On arrival, we were given a 1+0 instead, which we didn't mind. What was awful was finding a used condom in the kitchen drawer. We explained it to a staff member, who changed our room right away. Even aside from that incident, cleanliness seemed generally poor: the bathroom towels were old, and the doors and walls were dirty. There was no place to put the toilet door and no trash can. The rooms had been smoked in, leaving a smell and burned patches on the upholstery. At least we had hot water, and the central location was an advantage.

The location is a little inconvenient, but the rooms are clean and the staff are helpful.
