Bektas Karagol Otel

We arrived to find the hotel shut, with nobody there and no answer when we called. We were left stranded until we finally got through to someone, who sent us to another hotel 10 km away. That hotel blamed a problem with the Hotels app and then asked us for another 1,000 TL. Don't book here.

We came as a busload, and they knew we were on the way, yet there was no hot water, at least during our stay. The place wasn't very clean, the beds and blankets were too short, and it all felt odd. They advertised internet, then told us they didn't have it. I didn't enjoy the stay.

The view across the plateau was beautiful, and the room was clean and in very good shape. That was about the bright spot, though. We booked through JollyTur and got a tiny room that felt more like a hut than a double room, with a small bed and just one duvet or blanket for the night. The heater was running when we arrived but was switched off later as the evening got colder. There was no air conditioning, so we froze, and there was hardly room to find a spot for our suitcase. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was carelessly put together.

Jolly Tur brought us here, and it turned into my worst stay. There was a spider on the bed, webs on the walls, and the beds and sheets were incredibly dirty. The rooms were soundproof, and the toilets smelled awful. There was no care or upkeep at all.
