Kumbet Chalet

For a small, family-run place, Kümbet Şale Hotel has a lot going for it: friendly owner and son, clean and cosy rooms, hot water, heating, wifi, and a magnificent view. Breakfast is served every morning. It's close to everything, with a 10 minute walk one way to the village and forest or hill in the other direction. Kümbet and the surrounding plateaus are a photographer's haven. This is a tiny facility, so don't expect luxury, but it's a must see if you're staying in Kümbet Plateau of Giresun. I wouldn't consider another place here.

Good value for the price, and a nice place to stay. I especially liked their eggs cooked with butter.

Mustafa showed us to our room. It was small but clean, and he and his wife were attentive, asking if we needed anything. We'd had a great time exploring the day before, and although the breakfast menu had sold out, they replenished it when I asked. We were very pleased. There's even an extra bed for a child, so I'd recommend it to couples with children. The place is very clean and hygienic, and seems ideal for families who care about that. Thanks again.
