Roza Otel

I was wary after reading the Google reviews, especially the complaints about hygiene from Jolly Tour groups. My family and I went with Jolly Tour too, and the issues people mentioned were sorted out very quickly. The rooms, bathrooms, linens, and sheets were clean. The hotel uses what seems to be a separate restaurant on the ground floor for meals, so tour guests get a fixed plate of chicken, rice, and salad. It's a basic mountain hotel, not a luxury place.

I went through Jolly Tour, and the hotel's hygiene is generally a concern. The reviews mentioned chicken legs on the dinner menu a month earlier. Breakfast felt more like a teachers' mess than a typical Black Sea spread.

They promised a lot and talked up the service before we arrived, but once there they barely acknowledged us and didn't even provide breakfast. The price they first quoted my wife and me wasn't what we were charged at the hotel. They booked us for two nights, but I wasn't happy, so I left after one. They took 1000 lira from my reservation, saying it was empty, though they hadn't seen other customers. The hotel was full and they couldn't make another reservation for us. They also said they had no POS machine and told me to transfer the money to their bank account. I was very dissatisfied.

We ordered a kilo each of lamb chops and meatballs. We ate only five lamb chops and were still waiting for more. The butcher said he'd only sent one kilo. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
