Duja Didim (Ex Aurum Moon Holiday Resort)

The hotel has lovely views, good facilities, and a relaxed feel. The staff made our holiday, though the air conditioning needs a serious upgrade. We were told it was a manual system, with the roof units determining whether the air could be set to hot or cold. We kept getting ERROR CODE E7, and that became a real nightmare. Even then, the team worked hard to help, and they deserve credit for their service. Alperen was helpful all through our stay. Fatma, the senior cleaning lady, was warm and professional, and Sinem kept our room spotless every day with real care and kindness. JJ and Fedier were great too. JJ raised the air conditioning problems with senior staff and management several times, and went well beyond what anyone could expect to get answers to all my questions and queries, along with our friend Alperen. Feddy spent all his energy and patience entertaining both children and adults. These people, along with the other staff I haven't named, made the stay memorable. I’d visit any hotel that hired them. What an incredible team! Please tip them, 200 - 500 TL. We spend £5 on a Tesco meal deal without thinking, while these staff go above and beyond to help us enjoy ourselves.

The whole stay felt comfortable and relaxing, and our room was cleaned every day. The hotel was clean throughout, and the team made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. We also had a great choice of food and drinks each day. We’d definitely return and recommend this all inclusive hotel.

The private beach was a lovely spot, with two jetties where we could sunbathe. The pools were clean and pleasant too, and we never had trouble finding loungers. They aren’t heated, so the water was chilly, though visiting in October probably made us notice it more. Big thanks to everyone in the guest relations office. They kindly let us book all three à la carte restaurants at no extra cost. If you only choose one, I’d go for the Turkish restaurant. It was delicious and the best meal of our holiday. The bars could have long queues, but the staff were efficient, so we didn’t wait long. The lobby and entertainment area bar staff were excellent, and even came up with new cocktails for us to try. We’ve just checked out after a lovely, relaxed week at Duja Didim. The hotel and our room in the main block were spotless. There were two of us, and even though we’d read that the rooms were small, ours was just right. The food was basic, as you’d expect at an all inclusive, with a decent selection that got a bit repetitive. We enjoyed the lunchtime snack bar so much that we ate there most days. There were plenty of activities and great facilities around the resort. We also loved the choice of food and restaurants, with 10/10 service from the polite, friendly staff. My wife and I arrived in the early hours on Saturday and were greeted warmly. It was an amazing seven day break, just what we needed.
