The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and TJ is an absolute legend who knows everything you need to know about the Gallipoli penninsula! The rooms are clean and spacious, and the hotel is a nice, friendly 3 star place. If you want a bigger location, a ferry crosses to Çanakkale every hour for just 30 TYR.

TJs also runs guided tours of the historical sites, with a professional guide explaining the history from the Trojan Wars thousands of years ago through Turkiye’s WW1 involvement between Germany, Russia and the west, shaped by its strategic position on the Dardonelles Strait and access to the Black Sea. The room was huge and clean, with a sea view. The shower had seemingly endless hot water, breakfast was a great buffet, WiFi was free, and the staff were wonderful. It’s close to restaurants, markets, bars, ATMs and the ferry. Highly recommend.

The friendly, excellent staff made our stay a pleasure. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there was plenty of hot water. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in Turkiye.

There were welcoming, smiling faces all over the hotel. It was cold and windy when we checked out, and the staff gave us a big cup of hot tea in our mug to keep us warm. When we got up early for the ferry, the kitchen wasn’t open yet, but one staff member actually got out of bed to bring us coffee. I’m so sorry, and thank you so, so much! The room was large, bright and had a sea view. It was clean, fully equipped and great value, and check-in and checkout were super efficient. Everyone working there was so kind and welcoming. You really couldn’t ask for more. Thank you 🫶🫶

The tour was fantastic, and the guide knew so much. The accommodation is basic, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and great food. Thanks to TJ and the whole team.
