The Kirte Hotel

Serife was a huge help with our late check-in. She even called while we were on the road to sort out a late dinner. The rooms are brand new and spotless. It’s a convenient spot for the major landmarks, and I enjoyed waking up to roosters in this rural setting. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was really nice, and the location worked perfectly for visiting Gallipolu/Gallipoli and ANZAC Cove. The WiFi didn’t work, though, so I took off a star for service.

Comfortable rooms and welcoming people.

There’s no breakfast, though tea, coffee and snacks are available. For the price, the service is unfortunately very lacking. The building seems to have been put together poorly despite the high-quality materials. It’s in a village, but the windows have no mosquito nets. The bathroom and toilet smell awful. The plumbing seems incorrectly connected: hot water keeps leaking, the shower gets scalding hot, and water from the sink drain runs onto the floor. I think the structure is steel, and the whole floor shakes when you walk. We stayed upstairs, yet could hear every little thing from the neighboring room, including quiet sounds, doors closing, conversations and the toilet flushing.
