I stayed at Gezgin Hotel on November 28, 2025, and felt at home from the start. Kamil Gezgin, his wife Zekiye, their sons and daughters-in-law all personally looked after guests. They come from a long-established, respected family in Edirne, and everyone was attentive and friendly. The hotel itself is carefully designed down to the smallest detail: the lobby feels like a work of art, and the spacious rooms have quality features throughout, from the beds and bathrooms to the hairdryers. I’ll recommend this lovely place to everyone I meet, and Gezgin Hotel will be my first stop when I return to Edirne.

The location worked perfectly for us, just off the motorway at the Edirne exit, and the food was good too. The rooms felt clean and comfortable enough to deserve a five-star rating. Everyone on staff was lovely and spoke English, which I haven’t found in most places in Turkey. For the quality, the price was very cheap. I can’t think of anything to complain about, and would highly recommend it whether you’re stopping overnight or visiting Edirne.

We needed somewhere to rest after crossing the border and driving for hours, and this hotel suited us well. Our family of four adults had a spacious, comfortable room with AC. The building is new and very clean, and the price seemed reasonable for the location. It’s easy to reach from the main road just after the border, with a grocery store and gas station nearby. The family who runs the hotel were welcoming and helpful, and they speak English. Parking is large and safe. Breakfast is buffet style, with plenty of sweet and savory choices. We stayed one night and were very satisfied. Would definitely recommend it!

We got there very early in the morning, but the receptionist was wonderful and set aside two breakfasts for us since we’d miss the usual time. The rooms were very clean. 10/10.
