Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Edirne

I don't recommend this hotel. The place looked basic and not very clean, and we weren't allowed to see the room first. They only showed us pictures. At the front desk, a very rude woman tried to charge us twice the online price despite our reservation, saying it was because we had a child and couldn't have the regular room we'd booked. She noticed we were Americans. The hotel is also far from the sights and city center.

I've stayed here for several one-night visits and would come back. The reception is quick and kind, and the rooms work perfectly well for a short stay. The elevators are a little slow but function fine. Breakfast used to be self-serve, but on my latest visit they brought several plates with bread, sausage, jam, fruit, and cookies. It was good and enough. The price and service suit me.

The rooms and common areas were clean and tidy, and the staff were especially kind and attentive. They were always ready to help, whether we wanted directions to a landmark or advice on where to buy something. Breakfast had all the Turkish food you'd want, and everything was spotless. The team were friendly, and the hotel is about a five-minute drive from the center, so getting around is easy. Visit Jedrene if you want to feel the Ottoman spirit.

The people working here were helpful and nice, and the breakfast buffet was good. Room service had a satisfying range of options, though the meals themselves were just okay. The hotel is a bit outside the city and somewhat expensive. In the toilet there were stains that couldn't be removed. My friends noticed an unpleasant smell in the room, though it didn't bother me. Still, it's a nice place to stay.
