Adrina Termal Health & SPA Hotel

The service was perfect, and there’s free WI-FI everywhere plus plenty of parking. The SPA centre has very hot water, so it suits people who don’t like cold water; the outdoor pool is cooler but still warm. Food was fresh and varied. It seems like a great holiday spot in winter or summer, and I’d like to come back with my family.

Our sea-view room was wonderful, and the beds were really comfortable. The restaurant staff were first-class. The food tasted very good overall, though at times it seemed quantity got more attention than quality. Staff often tried to speak some English, and between that and our broken Turkish, we managed to understand each other. Among Güre's many thermal places, this is a lovely up-market option with sensible prices. The indoor thermal pools were wonderful, and the outdoor hotel pool was the biggest we’ve ever seen, surely at least 50 metres long. Even at the end of November, the water was comfortable. We enjoyed our two-day stay and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting to try Balıkesir's thermal waters.

The room temperature made it hard to get proper sleep and rest. Their central system shuts the AC fans off at night, according to their experience. Opening the windows and doors for fresh air brings in a lot of noise, since the hotel is close to the main road. The bathroom ventilator has a similar problem. It’s controlled centrally and only runs for a few minutes every 1-3 hours. When basic things like sleep and ventilation don’t work, the other services don’t matter much. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

We stayed four days with breakfast and dinner included. The food was tasty, clean and good, and the beach was nice, clean and not crowded. Our room was big, as was the bathroom, and everything was very clean. The staff were receptive even though only maybe two or three spoke English, and we got by fine. They also made us feel very safe with the covid measures. I’d give the hotel staff a 10 for that.
