Kutlugun Sahil Otel

Really good.

A miserable place.

We booked through Tatil Sepeti and, even though we had a sea view, were given a ground-floor room. There was no hot water. The air conditioner worked, but there was no remote at first, though one was brought later. The TV had a remote but didn't work. Being beside the stream, the room was full of mosquitoes, and there were no screens or blinds on the balcony door, so opening it to air the room let them swarm in. Hygiene was poor too, with yellowed, lint-covered towels. We arrived tired after the trip, expecting to stay three nights and with low expectations. But after just two hours, everything seemed broken and filthy, so we left for another hotel at midnight. We can't say anything about the beach or breakfast. The reception staff were attentive and tried to make things right, but the conditions were so bad that we didn't want to spend even one night there. Keep all this in mind even if you're only planning a night or two while passing through.

My wife and I had to stay overnight, and even after reading the reviews and keeping our expectations low, the place was unbelievable. The rooms were damp and full of flies, and dirt seemed to be dripping everywhere. There wasn't even soap or shampoo. We left our key for the room to be cleaned and were shocked to learn that daily cleaning wasn't available. The only good thing was Refik, the friendly, helpful Indonesian employee. That's about it. Pay 3 lira more and stay somewhere else. If you absolutely have to come here, you might want to book a hospital appointment too.
