Ucem Hotel

We were pleased with how friendly and helpful the staff were, and the hotel is right in the center, just 5 meters from the sea. It's a bed-and-breakfast place, so we ate dinner elsewhere, and food and drinks at the hotel cost extra. What bothered me was paying 360 TL for two badly made coffees in the evening. I can hardly call them americanos. The mosquitoes at night and flies in the morning were annoying too.

The location and pool are real pluses, with a nice market out front and the Altınoluk promenade behind the hotel. Our room had a mini-fridge, and the price seemed reasonable compared with other hotels. The place does feel neglected, though: the air conditioner leaked, the windows were dirty, and so was the seating area above the pool. There's even a spot out front that could work as a cafe, with a counter already there, but it wasn't in use. A proper clean and some upkeep could make this place magnificent.

At 4000 TL a day, this neglected, falling-apart hotel felt indifferent to its guests. The air conditioner was noisy, the toilet leaked, and the pool was worthless. Breakfast was awful too. They serve Turkish flatbread only once every three days, and that was the one good thing. The service is worthless and the hotel is terrible. Don't waste your money here. Altınoluk Hotel is the same price. I don't recommend this place.

It's handy being close to everything, and the hotel is near the center. But the noise from town at night made it really hard to sleep. Our room wasn't clean enough, and the heaters were dirty too.
