This is still my first choice in Elazig because the welcome is so warm. The room has what I need to relax, especially a comfortable bed and good blackout curtains. There’s also a kettle and washing machine, and the small bathroom does the job with clean towels brought each day.

The location is central and pleasant, but the rooms and service were awful. I came to book a stay and asked for somewhere I could use a kitchen. They put me on the third floor, and I accepted even though there’s no elevator. When I went up to make tea, there were no supplies. A woman at reception said she’d bring them and told me to go ahead, but she never showed up. I went to the toilet and got stuck when the door wouldn’t open. This was room 325. I called the man, who said he was coming, but he didn’t; I eventually got out with difficulty. Later, my friend said he’d bring the supplies. He brought plates and forks, but no teapot. When I asked, he said there wasn’t one and that I should use the kettle. The stove wouldn’t light either. Reception came up, said the gas cylinder was empty, and promised a replacement right away. I waited three hours and went to bed. Around 11 PM, the doorbell woke me. The cylinder had arrived, and the man tested it by lighting a match to it. It sounds like a joke, but it happened. The toilet seat and shower cabin were broken too. The place is only worth considering if you expect nothing from it. If I hadn’t paid, I’d have thrown them out on the second day. You can’t stay with a family like that.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s a coffee machine at the front desk. The room has a refrigerator, kettle, kitchen counter, a fortified table by the entrance, and a two-seat dining table. Towels are provided, the lights are bright enough, and there’s a working nightlight. A hairdryer, shampoo, and shower gel are there too. The smart TV has one HDMI and one USB port, but it won’t connect to Wi-Fi. Internet is poor: Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly, and even Bimcell and Turkcell reception is bad. Sound carries badly through the room, including flushing from elsewhere in the building. There’s no trash can or wall clock. The bathroom cabinet needs renovation, and there’s no bracket for the shower head.
I went there for a one-night stay, but the reception was empty and nobody answered my calls. There was no customer service, so I didn’t even look into anything else.
The place itself is great, and they didn’t make any trouble when we left. We paid half the price and went around 9 pm because we just couldn’t stay in the heat. There’s no air conditioning. We were exhausted, so we thought a fan might be enough, but it was useless in that weather. Our room was in a blind spot facing the neighboring apartment’s window, and opening ours didn’t cool it down.
