The room design was nice, and the staff were very kind despite being disorganized. They even let us use the parking for a few hours after checkout. But our room was occupied when we arrived because of a booking mix-up, so they placed us in two rooms at another hotel. At first we were told this was for one night, then that we'd stay there for the whole visit. On the second-to-last night, around midnight, they said we'd need to move again for our final night. We packed and waited instead of going out, only to be told they wouldn't move us after all. There was no sound insulation, so every footstep and noise from upstairs or the hallway came through. We also found cat poop on our window. That's why I'm giving four stars instead of less.

Karim, the Manager, and the rest of the Service were friendly and helpful. Our room looked out over the Golden Horn and the ancient walls, and the rooms were very clean and atmospheric. We walked everywhere. For motorcyclists, the secure private parking is especially good: you enter the yard through a gate, and my Tiger 955i with Heed crash bars got in without a problem. I recommend it!

The view from our top-floor room was fabulous, especially at night, looking out over Golden horn. The ceiling was low up there, and the room wasn't very clean.

The historic look of the place is nice, though there's no elevator. The room was simple but comfortable, the staff were kind and available, and the accommodation was good for a reasonable price.

The location is superb, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The 55T bus goes downtown to Eminounu and the Grand Bazaar, and across the golden horn. Tram T5 connects to the M7 Metro. A great place to stay.
