Elazig Windy Hill Hotel & Spa

The food was great, but they don't speak English, and people smoked everywhere, even in the elevators. We had 11 rooms, and the doors of rooms 4 to 6 were open most of the time. A lot of things were stolen, so don't leave anything in your room. There are many thefts at this hotel. The managers are involved too, and the police are friends with the owners.

The suite was nicely equipped, but the room never really got cool. The air conditioning only put out cool air, which wasn't enough. The fridge kept things cool rather than cold, so I had to order a bucket of ice for drinks. The pushed-out windows also get in the way of the wonderful view; I wish they slid open instead. They really need to clean the windows, too. Some breakfast food looked like it had been reheated from the day before, or maybe even earlier.

The only real problem was the power going out that morning and the generator not starting. The electricity did come back later, but I think management should look into it. Aside from that, the hotel was beautifully decorated, modern, and very clean, with outstanding rooms that had everything from A to Z. There was free coffee and tea, Netflix on the TV, clean, amazing beds, and USB ports. The Wi-Fi was outstanding, better than my phone's internet, while every other hotel on my trip had poor service. We came with our tour, and this was the best hotel we stayed at. We were lucky to arrive on a Saturday night when traditional live music was playing, and we had a table. The food selection and presentation were very good, and they did an amazing job serving it under the Covid restrictions. The serving staff were attentive and always smiling, which matters a lot in hospitality. Would I come back? For sure, it's my Hometown. I'd advise anyone looking for a hotel to stay here.

The location is superb. Service was very good, the parking lot was plenty big, and the rooms were a good size with comfortable beds. The bathroom had everything needed.
