After arriving in Kayseri from Kars by train at 4 a.m., I needed a room with no booking and no time to arrange one beforehand. I booked here for that night and hoped to pay for an early check-in. The night manager initially said they were full, but then offered me a wait in the comfortable lobby chairs while a room was cleaned by 9. He came back a little later and found me a room, with a good discount on the rate as well. The room seemed ready, though it was missing a cup, so I took one from the next room when the cleaners weren’t looking. Everything else I needed was there: a comfortable bed with lights above it, a desk and decent chair, plus a soft chair to relax in. The bathroom was fine, the Wi-Fi worked, and the room was clean. Closing the windows kept out the traffic noise. You can hear some trains since the hotel is across the road from the station, but there weren’t many, and I liked the sound.

I felt at home here because the people were so welcoming. The rooms were always clean, and breakfast was great. Staying at this hotel was honestly the best choice I made in Kayseri. I’d recommend it to everyone, and can’t think of a better hotel in town.

The price, cleanliness, location, and staff were all really good. At reception, Jusuf was the friendliest man, and we shared laughs even though we didn’t speak the same language. The breakfast was nice and its staff were very friendly as well. We’re glad we got the chance to stay at korkmaz résidants!
