I stayed four nights at the Dedeman in Elaziğ and enjoyed it. The bed was comfortable enough that I slept like a baby, and the rooms are spacious. The bathroom was clean, with an excellent rain shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice mix of “continental” and “Turkish” food, with plenty of fresh fruit and local products. If you don’t smoke or dislike the smell of stale smoke, ask for a non-smoking room so the staff can give you one with crisp, clean air. There’s also a spa/hamam, though I didn’t visit it.

Breakfast had lots of options and was very good. The hotel is clean, and the staff are professional and helpful. Thanks to Mrs Ayla, who was friendly and ready to help.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times since 2020 without any problems. The rooms are nice, the beds are clean, and the staff have been helpful. On my last visit, though, I saw something unusual. While we were eating, they let people smoke inside the restaurant. It wasn’t just one person, there were at least 10-15 people filling the room with smoke. The smell forced me to cut dinner short. It’s 2024, and smoking in a closed-window restaurant shouldn’t still be happening. 🥴🤮🤮🤮

The restaurant on the top floor serves excellent food, while breakfast is average. The hotel itself is good and clean, including the rooms and toilets. My only complaint is that there’s just one kind of pillow, and it’s very hard. Bring your own if you want a good night’s sleep, or you may be awake all night.

I liked this hotel and its service. As a foreigner, feeling safe was important to me, and I found what I was looking for here. Special thanks to Begum, who is professional, knows her job, and speaks English well. Her advice helped me a lot. I recommend this hotel. 🏨
