This is a great base for skiing, right at the entrance with easy access to everything. The rooms were warm, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Erdal, Ömer, and Mehmet made us feel welcome, and Hakan at the ski rental was helpful and professional, making everything smooth. I had a solid stay and would come back.

I’ve been coming to Palandöken each year and used to stay at another hotel. This was my first time at Balsoy, and I’ll choose it from now on. The service was the best I’ve experienced, with everyone attentive, helpful, and friendly. We ate both breakfast and dinner there. Both buffets were huge, with great choices and free water, juice, tea, and coffee. The rooms are very good too. My only small gripes were that doors bang loudly when released, and you can hear them across floors, and there was more dust than average. The dust is understandable and can be aired out by opening the window. Highly recommended.

The food was really good, and the staff were respectful and available around the clock. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the ski resort, and guests can get free transport there with a room. Everything was nice, and I’d absolutely recommend staying here.
