Formercity is right across from a great breakfast restaurant, and it's an easy walk to Belediye tramstop. That makes it practical if you're arriving from the train station or otogar. It's also centrally located in Eskisehir, with helpful staff and rooms much bigger than you'd expect at this price. The shower had strong water pressure too, which isn't always a given in a midrange Turkish hotel. A super-friendly place to stay.

The staff at FormerCity Hotel were so welcoming and polite, always ready to help, and we felt comfortable and looked after during our stay. It's a lovely spot near all the amenities, and we had a lovely time there. Highly recommended! 🙏♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The front desk staff were kind and pleasant, and I could see they were trying to make the stay comfortable. But for what we were charged for one night, the room really needed updating. My family and I stayed one night, and they charged us four times for it. The room felt stuffy, the door handle was partly broken, and the bed cover wasn't large enough to cover us properly. In the bathroom, the shower pointed at the wall and couldn't be adjusted unless you held the shower head; a faucet by the wall made showering awkward. The half-glass shower screen also left water collecting on the floor.

The location was great, close to the centre, the gondolas and the neighbourhood with colourful houses. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom, and the internet was excellent. The staff were always smiling and quick to respond. Great hotel.

It's clean and cosy right in the middle of town, with easy access and lots of well-rated restaurants around. There are breakfast places in the hotel's alley, so I'd book without breakfast. The room had water, tea, coffee and towels.
