Asiwa Otel

It's a nice, new hotel, and still feels fresh and clean. The location is good too, on a quiet street but close to the city center. Our first nights were fine, but on the last one a wedding downstairs kept us awake until 11.30 pm. The building, and even the bed, was literally shaking, at least on the first floor. It felt like the place was made of cardboard. From room 101, we heard everything from reception, people constantly going up and down the stairs, and loud talking until 0.30 am. We could even hear people using the toilet, and one morning a neighbor's alarm woke us. The walls are that thin. We only chose this hotel because we needed a good night's sleep after getting up at 5 am and traveling for seven hours, then having to get up at 5 am again the next day. Instead, I slept only four hours. I'd probably stay on a weekday when it's quieter, after checking that no wedding is planned, but I wouldn't recommend weekends. The weekend price was even higher.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony, and the staff were nice and helpful. It's a centrally located, small-scale hotel that works well for a short stay. Breakfast was quite simple, unfortunately served in a warm room. There used to be a swimming pool, but it's a shame the roof is closed. The one thing missing is a terrace where you can have coffee.

There’s no shampoo in the bathroom, just something that looks like dish soap. The whole hotel smells like an ashtray. It’s disgusting.

The double bed was tiny, short, and hard, and the room was small too. We're 1.80 tall and our feet stuck out of the bed! Tourists pay more than locals but get the same very poor breakfast. The swimming pool was dirty and half full, and it isn't in use. English is hardly spoken.
