The staff were quiet and attentive, and the air conditioning was quite good. The area is very quiet and boutique-like. I came with my family, and our room was clean, but the bed I slept on was really hard, hardly a bed at all. There wasn’t a shower door, so water splashed around the bathroom. If you’re just coming here to sleep, I’d recommend it. Thanks to the staff for being so attentive.

I travel internationally too and stay in at least 15 different hotels a year. At home, I mostly choose boutique hotels because I think it matters to support SMEs, small and medium-sized enterprises. I want to mention what was good as well as what needs work. I’m not trying to tear the place down, just point out where it could improve. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful, much like people generally are in Eskişehir. The location is good if you want a quiet break, but the walls are very thin, and you can hear people talking in other rooms. My first shock came just minutes after entering the room. When I checked the bathroom and toilet, I realized the previous guest had been a woman. There were clumps of hair on both sides of the drain. There was no shampoo, just half a bottle left by the previous guest. For hygiene, I’d recommend bringing slippers. The tap’s shut-off valve kept falling off, and the sink drain was clogged constantly. The toilet wasn’t working properly, but reception fixed it after I reported it. The rooms aren’t cleaned daily, and around 70% of the information on Booking.com was inaccurate compared with the advertisements there. A cobweb was still hanging from the bedroom lamp. The bed was quite comfortable, the air conditioning was great, and there was always hot water. Books on the hotel’s upper floor also give it an interesting atmosphere for readers. I don’t think the hotel itself is what keeps it from getting 5 stars, but rather the lack of potential for improvement and beautification. Cleanliness is essential in a hotel and needs attention. It’s a small, clean, comfortable hotel on a quiet street, with a large, pleasant room. The host gave us a very warm welcome, and we would have liked more time to chat with them. Otopark parking is 50 meters away, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the lively city center. Excellent value for money.

The rooms are spacious, bright, and have high ceilings, and the hotel itself is pleasant. There’s an unpleasant smell from the toilet, though, and the shower door is broken. Even so, I highly recommend it for a one-night stay.
