Area Hotel

The sea-front location is great, the pool is a good size, and the hotel was good value for a basic stay. Rooms are dated but clean, and cleaners came in daily. Reception was helpful and friendly, and light bulbs were replaced when I asked. Air con is free, but the safe deposit box costs £1 per day. The pool area needs work: tiles are uneven and broken, and the rugs were wet and slippery, with green slime. Breakfast was very basic, and tables weren’t cleaned between guests.

Breakfast is available, but the food was poor and there wasn’t much choice. The best options were boiled egg, Nutella, and toasted bread. The room is tiny, and its balcony is small too, with space for just one chair. The AC was alright. There was also an old TV from the 00's with no remote, basically just a box hanging there.

The staff were very friendly, and the hotel is cheap, with a prime location in a nice, lively area. But there was no wifi in the rooms, and I didn’t feel my things were safe if they went missing, even from the rooms. Overall, it was subpar.

The warm Mediterranean water is right there, and the hotel has a great pool, friendly staff, and a redesigned Italian restaurant and bar that feels professional and is equally priced, at least for ₺ earners. The rooms are clean, though the ones right at the front are a bit too small. It’s one of the better boutique hotels along the Çalış Beach coastline in Fethiye, and the colorful Çalış coastline and cozy hotel make for a nice holiday. There’s still room to improve, like adding digital color TVs and hot water to every room, but the good points should outweigh those minor drawbacks. Have a nice vacation!
