Eko Homes Fethiye Apart-hotel

It’s a spacious place in a great spot, with lots of restaurants and the waterfront an easy walk away.

I was worried about the street at first and regretted renting the place, but once inside it felt like good value. The house was clean and had no bad smell, though there was a little dust that didn’t bother us. The bed was so comfortable that, after staying in a 5-star hotel before this, I found this one better. It had enough plates, glasses, spoons, and forks, and the bathroom and toilet were adequate. Both air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, worked, and there was Wi-Fi and a decent-sized TV in the living room. We were on the ground floor, without a private balcony, but the huge terrace right outside the door was available for us to use. We went out for breakfast and came back to sleep at night, so it worked well as a place to stay. The price felt fair, and the center is close. The famous Fethiye Fish Market is a 7-8 minute walk away. I forgot to take photos inside, but I’ll post some of the cats in the garden.

The view can fool you, but sitting outside in the heat was impossible, and the cleanliness was awful. I felt sick when I bent down to look under the bed. The kitchen utensils seemed randomly collected, and some were missing. We washed all the dishes, yet the woman who came in the morning spoke rudely to us over one bowl. The listing says the place is for six, but there wasn’t a single pillow or blanket. Addition: Rent a house out like a barn and people will treat it that way. Respond like someone living in a barn, and you’ll be left at that level. There was nothing on the balcony saying barbecues were forbidden. It actually said they were allowed. When we left, we washed the dishes and tidied the mess the wind had made on the balcony, even though we didn’t have to. We’d also cleaned up the mess you left when we arrived. Reading and writing are two different things, but I don’t expect a barn owner to understand what they read, of course :) It’s a house, not a hotel. I can have 25 people stay there if I want. Problems with a home can be fixed, but personality problems get very difficult after a certain age. Have a good day.

The rooms all had air conditioning, which was the one good thing. Otherwise, the house wasn’t clean, and despite the view, the balcony was unbearably hot with no fans or anything similar. We booked for six, but there were no bedspreads or pillows outside the bedrooms.
