I stayed in October 2025. The room was nice, though small, but the hotel experience was very poor. I had tried posting this on Expedia, but the review disappeared, and I think the hotel asked for it to be removed. That might explain the good reviews. The WiFi was very inconsistent, so don't count on having a reliable connection. I could connect to the cafe across the street from my room, and that worked better. The bigger problem was the air conditioning. It didn't work at all during my stay, despite my reporting it to reception. I often woke up sweating, and the staff brushed me off, saying it would be fixed “tomorrow.” It never was. I later learned the system is controlled centrally, not by the hotel, so I don't understand why the receptionist said it would be fixed. After checkout I contacted the hotel, but they rejected my complaint and basically suggested I was lying. They also said the weather wasn't hot in Fethiye then, so I sent historical weather data showing otherwise. AC was listed as an amenity and was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel. Guests should be told clearly that they can't control the temperature in their rooms. They refused my refund request. Very disappointing and unprofessional customer service.

We loved the lively area and Hotel City Life Demir so much that we decided on the spot to add another night. The location puts everything we wanted to see right nearby, and the breakfast was tasty and filling enough to set us up for exploring. Give the Turkish tea/ Çay a try. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fethiye!

Friendly, helpful staff and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The place is quite central, and it was great value for the money. A good place to stay with family.

Update: The hotel says it has no connection with the transfer company, but reception staff personally interrupted my breakfast and urged me to leave. If the hotel isn't involved in the transportation, controlling my schedule isn't its responsibility. A proper notice would have been enough. Having staff publicly rush a guest out like that was handled unprofessionally. The service gets zero stars from me. Our arranged transport was for 9:30, but at 9:15 reception came in person to hurry me out of the breakfast cafeteria.
