We loved the setting and the views, and having a room with a private pool was well worth it. The service was attentive, and we were pleased with the included amenities. Momo at the restaurant was a particularly enthusiastic and friendly waiter, and made my birthday surprise extra special. The hotel had arranged a large cake especially for me to be ready when we arrived. Such a lovely gesture.

Mercedes looked after us, and the Turkish breakfast each morning was sensational. We spent a very relaxing week here, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and sunsets. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thanks for everything, we hope to return.

The location is lovely, and the two rooms I saw were somewhere between fine and pretty good. My main problem was the service, which didn’t match the price. When it rained, no one tried to organize anything for guests in the common area. The spa closed on certain days, and they could have rotated staff. Its massages were mediocre anyway. Sometimes the bar by the water had no one there until we asked. We weren’t told about the yoga classes until they were already underway, and the pool wasn’t cleaned even after we requested it. There were plenty of little things like that.

We rarely leave bad reviews, but this stay was unpleasant and disappointing. It was raining heavily when we arrived, and the staff member who took us to the room became rude after learning we were Chinese travelers from the UK. He asked inappropriate questions, including which was better, China or the UK, and made us uncomfortable. During the room introduction, he focused on paid services and left out basic room information. When we asked questions, he just said “maybe, I’m not sure.” Then he stayed at our door, staring at my partner and me for nearly two minutes before asking, “No tip?” His service had been poor and his attitude offensive, so I didn’t think a tip was appropriate. He turned and left with an unfriendly expression when he realized he wouldn’t get one. We were in the middle of nowhere, and the encounter made me feel uneasy and a bit unsafe. The rest of our 20-hour stay brought four power outages, all late at night. Power returned quickly, but each time the bathtub made loud noises and the lights switched on automatically, waking us repeatedly and seriously affecting my sleep. The bathroom smelled strongly and unpleasantly, there was mold on the ceiling, and the curtains were broken. Some other staff were friendly and helpful, but the overall experience was terrible. We had booked two nights and checked out a day early because we couldn’t tolerate it any longer. I sincerely hope the hotel improves staff training and maintenance. The stay fell far below expectations and left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe.
