Sakura Hostel & Pub

The terrace was my favorite spot, especially for the mountain view. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, comfortable beds and regular cleaning, and the staff were kind and very helpful. The kitchen is basic but has enough for a few days. Wi-Fi was weak, though with so many outdoor activities it shouldn't matter if you don't need to work.

We stayed in a six-person dorm and had a balcony where we could dry our clothes. There were two showers and two toilets, plus clean sheets and handy storage beside the beds. The curtains gave the beds a bit of privacy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The rooms were clean, the location was ideal, and the staff were lovely. Maybe it felt especially good after having no air con on our boat, but I really couldn't fault this place.

Our deluxe suite was huge, and we stayed for a week. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location in Fethyie was great. Cleaning was fine, and you could tell them when you wanted the room done, so they wouldn't come in without permission. The shower area could use some attention, though. Some old parts need replacing.

The rooftop view was lovely, and the facilities were neat. My room was very clean, with a spacious bed and curtains for privacy. The staff were friendly, and the hostel is near minimarts, cafes and restaurants. From the bus terminal, it's about a 30-minute walk, though you can also take a minibus there. You don't need a bus pass, debit or credit cards work. One of the best hostels I've stayed in.
