I spent four nights at this hostel and had a really good experience. The rooms were very clean, and the owner and workers were kind and friendly. They did what they could to keep guests happy, and they pointed us toward the best safari I’ve ever been on. I’ll definitely go back next summer.

At Turunc Hostel Cafe, the staff were respectful, helpful, and very kind, and my room was clean. The owner was around regularly to check that we were comfortable. One night he invited us to cook with him, which was a lot of fun and very thoughtful. I really enjoyed my three nights there.

The owner was really friendly, and I had the whole place to myself during a cold winter in Fethiye. Just keep breakfast expectations modest. It’s the standard Turkish breakfast you’d find at hostels.

The staff were certainly friendly and helpful, and the place is just 20 meters from the minibus station and restaurants. Cleanliness wasn’t its strong point. I was there in October, at the end of the season, and there were only two of us in a cramped eight-bed room. I can’t imagine staying there when it’s full unless you’re with a group. The second room has four beds. I paid 60 Lira a night. COVID was a concern at the time, and the place might be closing soon, so check before you go.

A modest, affordable place with friendly people, nothing fancy, and right in the centre. It’s the closest spot to the Rock tombs and the castle. If you’re after a cheap bed for a few days in Fethiye, this is a good option.
