Portakalya Motel & Pansiyon

I gave five stars to get the review seen, but this place absolutely doesn’t deserve them. We arrived on August 18, 2025, planning to stay a week, but managed only three days. The room was awful, with dust, cobwebs, and a sheet left beside the bed that looked like it had been molding for months. The place was damp, and the smell was so bad we couldn’t even eat. I have asthma and could barely breathe. There weren’t enough kitchen utensils either. We found another nearby guesthouse for the same price, but I’d never recommend this one. It’s dirty, neglected, and damp.

PORTAKALYA PANSİYON is surrounded by an orange grove in Finike, and its two-storey buildings have a lovely, home-like feel. The apartments have a bathroom and toilet, a living room with an American-style kitchen and air conditioning, air-conditioned bedrooms, and balconies facing the garden. The beach is an easy walk away, and there are sun loungers in an area there that belongs to the guesthouse.

Set among greenery, this is a clean, quiet, peaceful guesthouse for families. The sea is 350 meters away, and the rooms come with kitchens and refrigerators. A lovely spot for a family stay.

This is a charming, family-run guesthouse in a peaceful setting among orange trees, just a walk from the shore. It lives up to its name. If your ideal holiday is a swim at sunrise followed by breakfast and time to relax with a book, I recommend it.
