Anadolu Evleri

We felt at home thanks to the hotel staff, and Mr. Murat's suggestions were right on. Our rooms were spacious, clean, fresh, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal too, within walking distance of the castle, bazaars, restaurants, and cafés. We had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend the hotel.

A short walk takes you to the old town and local bazaar, so the hotel is well placed for exploring. What makes it especially memorable is the historic building, once an old boarding school, and its gorgeous conversion, full of character. Our room was huge, charming, and beautifully appointed. The hosts were incredible, warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. A truly special stay, highly recommended.

The service was outstanding from everyone at Anadolu Residences. The day and night managers worked incredibly hard and seemed to anticipate what guests might need, from a beer glass to a plate for baklava. Over our four nights, breakfast varied each day, and we were very well looked after. Our first room turned out to be too small for the luggage we had after five weeks of travel, so they moved us to a room that suited us perfectly. The location is a great base for local sights, including the markets, Gaziantepp Castle, and Zeugma Mosaics. There's also an excellent baklava and kebap restaurant next door for a quick dinner. We drove from Cappadocia and appreciated the available parking. It was a lovely example of the hospitality Gaziantepp is known for, and we appreciated every part of the stay.

Our stay at Anadolu Evleri was fantastic. The hotel is in a historic building that used to be an Armenian girls’ school, and that distinctive atmosphere is still there throughout. We were upgraded on arrival and got to stay in the former headmistress's private quarters. It was an authentic experience we'll remember. The peaceful courtyard and fountain feel like an oasis, and the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special thanks to lobbyist Emre and owner Mr. Önder, who personally looked after guests and made our stay memorable. We'd definitely return and highly recommend Anadolu Evleri to anyone visiting Gaziantep.
